At the local Ruby, Python, Javascript, and other user groups, an overwhelming majority of the laptops I see are Macs, not PCs.
I'm not saying that Macs are inherently better than Linux-powered PCs. (I'm not giving up on the latter by any means.) It would be good to have the versatility to use either. And it's best to be in sync with everyone else.
