Title: menu navigation gem for Rails 5?

My current configuration is
Rails 5.2.0
ruby 2.5.1p57 (2018-03-29 revision 63029) [x86_64-linux]
In Rails 4 I used
gem 'simple-navigation', '4.0.1'
with few problems.
In simple-navigation's wiki
https://github.com/codeplant/simple-navigation/wiki
I see compliance with Ruby 2.2.1 and Rails 4.2
Anyone know if my environment is compatible with with simple-navigation?
Is there a menu navigation system people prefer for Rails 5?
