We're running a flirting site (http://www.flirtanywhere.com http://flirtanywhere.mobi), on EC2 using a slightly modded version of ec2onrails (the ami is modded, not the gem). A small instance using a 100GB ESB and storing all of our collateral on S3 (including db backups) runs around $80-$90 per month. So far it's been rock solid and performs comparably with a similar sized dedicated box we had about 18 months ago (ditched to go to EC2). --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
