Hi everyone,

We just released a new version of our Ruby on Rails appliance:

http://www.turnkeylinux.org/appliances/rails/updates/new-turnkey-rails-version-200902-hardy

In a nutshell, this is an extremely easy way to get a Rails stack up and
running in your VM (VMware, VirtualBox, Xen, KVM) of choice in just a
couple of minutes.

Changes in the last version:

* The appliance was rebuilt on top of TurnKey Core, the new common base
for all our software appliances, which is assembled from Ubuntu 8.04.2
  LTS packages.

* A bug in the daily auto-updates mechanism was fixed.

* Significant usability and security enhancements were made, including
confconsole support for systems with multiple NICs, password-free
  login in demo mode.

* Security enhancements: SSL support, database password setting during
installation, the inclusion of many generically useful Webmin modules,
  and improved embedded documentation.

Full details and documentation on the web site.

Cheers,
Liraz
