Uhm yeah. To specify, when I said I copied and pasted the user name and password and stuff, I meant that I copied it from cpanel on the second account, to make sure that the user name, password, and database name were correct. Also, I'm not trying to access mysql as root, that's the point. That's why the error makes no sense. I don't know why it's trying to access the database as root, it shouldn't be.
