I know the parent post is from a long time ago, but it turns out that this is a bug in the rails postgresql adapter -- it doesn't support table names with capital letters. There's a ticket and patch here: https://rails.lighthouseapp.com/projects/8994-ruby-on-rails/tickets/2418 If anyone could verify this patch, it would be much appreciated.
