If you are now actively developing websites in Rails, your shock-front is 
typically stuff the books don't cover - even if they do cover the new internal 
stuff, such as treating everything as a REST hit with a special request type.

So if you are currently good with using El Goog to read all the rails blogs, 
you 
know enough to develop...
