You can do like following
edit config/initializers/inflections.rb
ActiveSupport::Inflector.inflections do |inflect|
inflect.irregular 'equipment', 'equipments'
end
Now as I said before
./script/generate scaffold Equipment
That the solution. This is because rails takes plural of
equipment as equipment And what did above is to override that
To test it from console do 'equipment'.pluralize before and after
this and watch change
