Yup, there is no ruby; what i tgt was the bundle is gonna have 
everything..
anyways, I am one more step down.. meaning now installing ruby1.8.6;

Now I know the critical task for me is getting backgroundrb up and 
runnning.
Can you please please please advice me on which version of backgroundrb 
gem should I install?

This whole thing started as I want to migrate my ROR framework from 
Windows to Linux.
