Hi Marnen Yes did look into the locations - its Ruby 1.9 playing up, uninstalled/re installed Rails gem didnt make any difference
went back to 1.8.7 and then re installed rails 2.3.4 again and the files appear, gem works ok Looks like another glitch with 2.3.4 and ruby 1.9 on Windows. Is there a log for the rails generator to trace where it goes wrong?
