Marnen, Sorry that we could not provide more info.....crazy thing called liability. The Bjarne Stroustrup initials were meant only to illustrate that B. S. does not always stand for Bachelor of Science.
Again, throwing out the SRS was not meant literally.....a given set of functions can be designed in multiple ways, right? There are still some islands of idealism in the world that, when married with capitalism have very different results from traditional business models - if you don't get this, this is perhaps not for you. Glad you agree that reducing pollution sounds good (and not just idealism). There is a world of difference in 'working for someone and with someone.'.....again the difference though subtle in its construction is quite profound in principle. Yes, working remotely is what we are looking for....in this partnership. Please excuse - means please don't bother submitting if you are not working on this project directly in some capacity. Here, we are completely wrong and want to acknowledge your insight.....a rockstar RoR developer will be able to get this done in substantially less than 100 hrs. Be that as it may, we are glad to discuss more appropriate compensation. The schedule is still valid and 100 hrs. b/w 6/15 and 8/15 is what we are looking for.... I read a lot of posts on this forum and gathered from the slightly more insightful developers that query design, relational databasing, REST, SOAP is implicit when you are talking to a RoR expert. If I have misunderstood this - I stand corrected. If you are still not convinced that this is not a scam, then, I am sorry for wasting your time. As mentioned above, the budget is perhaps too low, and we are happy to discuss something more commensurate with the effort. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
