The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated, very bright, team player and have: Strong OO development, testing and design experience (3+ years) Experience in building multi-tier or distributed systems (2+ years) Web application development experience (2+ years) Good relational database and SQL skills Hands-on experience with a version control system such as git or svn Familiarity with the Linux OS and basic sysadmin skills Bachelor or Masters degree in CS or related field Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails Other desirable attributes or experience: • UI design and implementation, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX (experience with jQuery or Prototype a plus). • Crystal Reports, or similar reporting development experience. • Experience developing on other web frameworks, other high-level programming languages, OOP, design patterns, etc. Information security knowledge.
