Hello all, I'm in the market for a web host that supports Ruby on Rails. I've looked at Heroku, but really find them quite expensive. My budget is around $50-70 USD / month. And possibly on a VPS or semi-managed server.
Im a web dev and I'd like to focus at what I do best. I really don't have time for sys admin stuff. I'd like to have a server up and running to serve my web files why I work on web projects So far, I am considering Knownhost and/or Wiredtree (which are also semi-fully managed web host providers). Anyone have had any experience with other reliable web hosts, worth mentioning? Some have suggested Linode.
