The point being the localpart "f...@bar" (and yes, the quotes are part of the 
localpart) in "f...@bar"@rails.info, not the TLD.

Oh, and you should use \A and \z (string delimiters) over ^ and $ (line 
delimiters), as your regex will also validate strings of the form: 
[email protected]\nsome-funky-db-buster .
