Hello Colin and thanks for the idea, it didn't even occured to me!...I did as you said and it the problem seems to come from the inner components (tables, divs...) because when I writea text at the beginning of the partial page it shows correctly (without extra spaces), not the render partial. trying to figure out what's going on as css files don't seem to be in cause.
