Ruby On Rails framework experience
· Highly skilled in programming with dynamic languages. Prefer experience with Ruby and Perl. · Experience writing Javascript. Familiarity with current Javascript Toolkits (jQuery, EXTJs, OpenLayers, etc.) · Capable of programming in structured programming languages. Prefer experience with C++ and Java. · User Experience (UX) engineering skills. · Demonstrate understanding of web application programming protocols, tools and practices. · Good working understanding of Relational Database Management Systems. · Comfortable operating in UNIX/Linux environments. · Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems. · Experience working with common GIS/Remote Sensing data formats. · Ideally, working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Oracle, common Open Source GeoSpatial software such as GDAL, and extensive experience with shell programming. · US Citizen We will help to relocate this hire to Colorado.
