That's very interesting to know. I have a 3-year-old MacBook Pro which I love, but it's probably time to get a new laptop soon. I wonder if an Air would be suitable. Maybe not, though; I plan to use it for audio and live looping at least as much as software development (I do both music and programming professionally...yes, I'm busy).
