It seems to be an issue with how much stuff Google sends back.

We ended up using Mongrel as a work-around in development by adding
this

gem "mongrel", "1.2.0.pre2", :group => :development

to the Gemfile.

And we use Passenger in production without any issues with OmniAuth.
