Hi,
the problem occurs if you have columns with byte data.
to exclude them of the serialization is used
def serializable_hash(options=nil)
options ||= {}
options.merge!( :except=> [:MY_BYTEDATA_COLUMN] ) if
options[:except].blank?
super(options)
end
