The @expires( 10s ) did the trick. (I was already in stream mode). I was just debugging down into WorkingMemoryReteExpireAction and was saw that every time I advanced the clock the events in the window were evicted. I guess this is the 5.0.1 bug.
Are there maven snapshot builds?
