Ok, so I've found a workaround: Deploy my main project, and then manually copy the correct ctCharges-0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar into the deployed WEB-INF/lib folder.
My war file with the jar file inside it looks good in the maven target directory, but once deployed using Eclipse to my JBoss folder, the jar file loses its maven directory.
