We did a number of property reactive fixes for 5.6 and 6.0, but I do not know if the one in that mailing list entry was fixed, as they never submitted a unit test to us, as a pull request, as per: "I also wrote a page on how to submit unit tests and bug fixes: http://docs.jboss.org/drools/release/5.4.0.Final/droolsjbpm-introduction-docs/html/gettingstarted.html"
