Hi,
Issues which we first observed last December and which I wrote about [1]
and reported to SourceForge [2] in January still seem to continue.
Given that as of writing this (>1 month later) the sourceforge ticket is
still in status "unread", the decision is to switch the mailing lists to
freelists.org, which has been recommended by multiple parties. We get
what we pay for, so I can't blame SourceForge, but given that
communication is critical for the project, I cannot wait for fixes any
longer.
Old subscribers will be automatically subscribed to the new lists and
the old lists will be decommissioned. NOTE: if _and only if_ you do not
want to be subscribed to the freelists.org one(s), unsubscribe from the
sourceforge list(s) within 24h!
The mailing list address will change. I will send another mail when the
new list is up, hopefully tomorrow ASAP after the 24h deadline. After
that, if you notice the old addresses floating around anywhere, please
take action to update them.
I'm terribly sorry for the hassle that this may cause. You can take
comfort in knowing that this is not exactly convenient for myself either.
