Hi Tim, Thanks for posting these. I haven't listened to the audio, but I read through the slides and I like your presentation. For me, it is a good reminder of why Rust is so cool.
I don't know about other users (survey time, anyone? [?]), but my background is mostly C++ and Java. The notes about C++ vs. Rust are helpful.
