I want to revisit this. I can confirm that gpm is indeed the problem. When gpm is loaded, I can make either vim or links crash every time by repeatedly launching and quitting them inside rxvt-unicode. If I quit out of a crashed links or vim by typing "killall links" or "killall vim" from another terminal, then launch the crashed program again from rxvt-unicode, it always crashes again. But if I crash vim or links, stop gpm and then launch vim or links again, then it works again. In fact, if I don't have gpm loaded, then I can't reproduce this problem. I know I don't need gpm if I'm running X, but I am curious as to why gpm and rxvt-unicode don't work together. _______________________________________________ rxvt-unicode mailing list [email protected] http://lists.schmorp.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rxvt-unicode
