Could you please fix this bug? Maybe the knowledge that this kludge
fixes it could help you?

"Shift character around" -- that's what i call letter-spacing :-)

Could you please tell me a font that breaks so i could investigate
more? It fixes "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono", "DejaVu Sans Mono" and
"Liberation Mono" for me.
