Hi, I'm trying to get keysym resources like this URxvt*keysym.End: <C-e> URxvt*keysym.Home: <C-A>
working. They used to work with urxvt and rxvt, but now it seems I always get literal '<C-e>' instead of control-e. I'm now using Ubuntu 8.04 with all the updates, rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v8.4 - released: 2007-10-27 options: perl,xft,styles,combining,blink,iso14755,encodings=eu+vn+jp+jp-ext+kr+zh+zh-ext,fade,transparent,tint,XIM,frills,selectionscrolling,wheel,slipwheel,smart-resize,cursorBlink,pointerBlank,scrollbars=plain+rxvt+NeXT+xterm I changed to Ubuntu from Fedora a while back, and there <C-e> was working. urxvt was rxvt-unicode (urxvt) v9.0 - released: 2008-01-25 options: perl,xft,styles,combining,blink,iso14755,encodings=eu+vn+jp+jp-ext+kr+zh+zh-ext,fade,transparent,tint,afterimage,XIM,frills,selectionscrolling,wheel,slipwheel,smart-resize,cursorBlink,pointerBlank,scrollbars=plain+rxvt+NeXT+xterm but I'm fairly sure it worked with various 8.x and 7.x versions in Fedora (not 100% sure, if I tried 8.4). Is this something known (a missing compilation option, Xresource hitch, or sth) or should I try to compile 9.0 to see if it goes away? Ideally I'd like to use Ubuntu package to minimize work (with Fedora I always compiled from sources.) -- v -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ rxvt-unicode mailing list [email protected] http://lists.schmorp.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rxvt-unicode
