I'm aware that there is nothing broken with urxvt, but I'm thinking on behalf of the end user here rather than attempting an exercise in finger-pointing. Imagine someone else goes through what I went through: - they switch to urxvt - they find the docs about pastableTabs - they think "cool! I'll use that" - ... but they're using GNU screen, so it doesn't work as expected. Much better to include a caveat in the docs about pastableTabs than to have them waste a few hours rediscovering what I did, i.e. that there's an issue with GNU screen which prevents it working.
