I am sorry, but urxvt doesn't get LeaveNotify events, because it doesn't
ask for them (and even if the server would errornously send them,
urxvt would ignore them) - what exactly do you mean with "it gets the
LeaveNotify event")
I also just verified that moving the mouse outside the window doesn't
affect the compose key functionality (it works fine with the mouse outside
the window here).
Do you use a specially patched version of urxvt, or gentoo, or an
extension not part of urxvt?
