Still because the font doesn't exist - this is the template for a scalable
font, for which xlsfonts provides 0 for all varying fields - you have to
fill in sensible values for them yourself.

Since it is a scalable font, you probably would get better quality if
you used it via xft (but that's your choice, it will work fine as a core
font).
