Hi!
We've seen numerous extensions and patches for rxvt-unicode on this list,
some of which haven't found into the official distribution for various
reasons. For example, tabbedex should at some point replace tabbed, but we
don't want to maintain it. There are other patches that are someitmes updated
and sometimes not.
I think it would be nice to collect those - regardless of actual or presumed
quality, even stuff we don't seem suitable for the main distro can be useful
to others.
Technically, it wouldn't be a problem to host something to this end, i.e.
some kind of repository where people can either put stuff they made, for
others, or just put a description and a link, so it's easier to find, without
having to search through list archives.
What we are not prepared for is maintaining the contents, which is the real
work, in my opinion.
Would anybody willing to do such a site, or maintain it, or have some
input on whats needed? In the end, a simple http download area with
READMEs might be sufficient, which is somethign we could link to
prominently from the documentation.
There is just too much potentially useful stuff lost on this list
otherwise.
