I'm not sure if it's related to this fix, but i have the following issue since i tried upgrade from 9.16 to 9.17. I'm using a tiling windowmanager (i3) on Gentoo but i also tried the vanilla rxvt-unicode from the site with enabled everything and enabled 256color. When i have one urxvt open and some text in it and i open several urxvt on the right side of it, the text gets scrambled cause of the resize. Both versions are compiled equally. I made some screenshots. 9.16: (a) Text fits: http://zeitgeist.li/asset/201303/zg.dae0.png (b) Opening X urxvt: http://zeitgeist.li/asset/201303/zg.x4xp.png (c) Closing the X urxvt: same like Text fits (a) 9.17: (d) Text fits: same as text fits (a) (e) Opening X urxvt: http://zeitgeist.li/asset/201303/zg.w4cv.png (f) Closing the X urxvt: http://zeitgeist.li/asset/201303/zg.ugss.png see the scramble, already at (b) and (e) to see?
