"All I'm saying" is still not a license to repeat the same false statement
while ignoring what you have been told: As I pointed out, xterm does
erase, even if it does so slightly differently than urxvt.

The difference, again, is that you have no choice over this erasing with
xterm (afaik), while you have the choice with urxvt.

In short:

   printf '\e[99999;H\n\e[H'

do that before running whatever you want to run, and it will reflow on
resize.
