When I install clipit form debian here, go to preferences and enable use
primary and synchronize clipboards, it seems to all work fine, I cna
select different history entries in clipit and then paste them in urxvt,
both from the clipboard (S-Insert) and the primary selection (middle mouse
button click).
So, from here, it all seems to work. Maybe you have a program that somehow
steals the clipboard or selection and interferes?
