Unicode

I can't find any support for Unicode in rxvt.

Is there any plan, or anybody working on that ?

If not, can I get started ?
How do I make sure that there is no duplication of effort (somebody else
starting the same project) ?

How do I validate my code in the source tree ?

Is there any guideline for coding ?
