Hi BzF,

In my version of Midnight Commander (4.5.39-pre9, text-mode edition, from
some RedHat distro), the help (F1 key) says, "shift-arrow MSW-MAC text
highlighting (for the linux console only)."  It looks like this is an
MC issue, not rxvt.

I, too, can only get shift-arrow to work with the console.  It doesn't
work with xterm either.

You can still use <F3> and the arrow keys to hilight, or left-mouse-button
and drag the cursor.
