Hi BzF, In my version of Midnight Commander (4.5.39-pre9, text-mode edition, from some RedHat distro), the help (F1 key) says, "shift-arrow MSW-MAC text highlighting (for the linux console only)." It looks like this is an MC issue, not rxvt.
I, too, can only get shift-arrow to work with the console. It doesn't work with xterm either. You can still use <F3> and the arrow keys to hilight, or left-mouse-button and drag the cursor. Hope this helped. -Dave On Mon, 15 Apr 2002, BzF wrote: > Hi, > I have a big problem with midnight commander -mcedit & rxvt. > Is it possible to make mcedit to mark text with Shit+cursor.keys (so it will > work same as when I'm on console)? > > Now it shows with > Shift+Up => a > Shift+Down => b > Shift+Right => c > and > Shift+Left => d > > thanks > BzF > -- Dave Eisenstein, Technical Advisor MSA/GPC Students' Server http://www.students.missouri.edu/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://students.missouri.edu/~dave/ Home: (314) 890-9294
