I am fairly inexperienced to compiling from source on Linux so please
forgive me. I am trying to compile rygel-0.17.7 on Debian Testing but when
I run ./configure I am stuck at the following build dependencies error:
...
checking for RYGEL_MEDIA_ENGINE_GSTREAMER_DEPS... no
configure: error: Package requirements (gupnp-1.0 >= $GUPNP_REQUIRED
gee-0.8 >= $GEE_REQUIRED gupnp-av-1.0 >= 0.11.4
gstreamer-pbutils-1.0 >= 1.0
gstreamer-app-1.0 >= 1.0
gupnp-dlna-2.0 >= 0.9.4
gio-2.0 >= GIO_REQUIRED) were not met:
No package 'gstreamer-pbutils-1.0' found
No package 'gstreamer-app-1.0' found
No package 'gupnp-dlna-2.0' found
...
I am running a mixed Debian Wheezy/Testing system with packages from both
Unstable and Experimental repos accessible when specifically installed. I
installed most of the the gstreamer0.10 and gstreamer1.0 packages from the
Debian Testing and Unstable repos respectively, trying to quash these
dependency requirements, but have gotten stuck.
Do you have build instructions for Debian, or can you provide me with some
guidance on finding the correct packages to install on Debian in order to
get Rygel to compile under Debian? I am willing to compile packages from
source if necessary if they will build on Testing.
