That document is a bit outdated for recent Rygel. For 12.04, it's
probably easier to use this PPA
https://launchpad.net/~yg-jensge/+archive/gupnp-unstable and the
dependent PPAs listed there which give you the needed vala for rygel git
and gstreamer 1.0.
