I think so. I do have /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstvorbis.so and /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gstreamer-1.0/libgstogg.so Also Asus MyNet DLNA client on my tablet plays the file without any problem. Now I had some wild idea, could it be that LG decides it does not support the file just based on its file extension? So I renamed the ogg vorbis file to have .mp3 as file extension instead of .ogg, and now the television plays back the file without any problem! Oh yes, the file really is an ogg vorbis file: $ file /mnt/storage/test/1-01.\ Safe\ From\ Harm.mp3 /mnt/storage/test/1-01. Safe From Harm.mp3: Ogg data, Vorbis audio, stereo, 44100 Hz, ~128000 bps I have placed a log and a capture with the renamed, working vorbis file here: http://artipc10.vub.ac.be/~frederik/lgsmarttv-working-vorbis.pcap http://artipc10.vub.ac.be/~frederik/rygel-working-vorbis.log > The improvement to support Ogg/Vorbis is tracked here: > https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=721270 -- Frederik Himpe _______________________________________________ rygel-list mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/rygel-list
