Found the issue. For some reason under sailfish an application using
pulseaudio results in an input-sink that is muted. So either it must be
unmuted using the pacmd or through some config magic it needs to be
unmuted by default. (For those who care see
/etc/pulse/xpolicy.conf.d/gstreamer1.0.conf)
That's technically the same. Are you running rygel as the same user
and in the same context as the command line?
Yes same user.
Can you check with export GST_DEBUG=*sink*:4 which audiosink and
device both programs are trying to use?
