Thanks for the reply. I used git clone git://github.com/osrg/ryu.git (master
rep?). Anyway, in your previous response I think you are referring to instances
(in my case running on qemu) and VM (the controller,compute,network,quantum...)
nodes as VMs. It would help if you could differentiate between the two. Note
that I have tried restarting the services in that order but it didn't . Also, I
am not sure whether my dnsmasq is in the right state or not. Can you give an
example of what the right state might look like for my config?

I fear that I might be doing something wrong(could it be the use of ovs_quantum
