Hi All,

I had run the all-in-one setup of Ryu and had a little question regarding the
MAC address and the flow matching rules. Here is my output of ovs-ofctl show
br-int after launching an instance (which corresponds to the tap interface):

OFPT_FEATURES_REPLY (xid=0x1): ver:0x1, dpid:0000fa00ce93ab40
n_tables:255,n_buffers:256
features: capabilities:0xc7, actions:0xfff
  1(gw-45a2ea49-61): addr:fa:16:3e:79:88:fa
       config:   0
       state:    0
  3(grec0a87af1-0a): addr:f2:63:b6:4c:db:04
       config:   0
       state:    0
  5(tap723a0e67-cd): addr:f6:68:b0:a6:27:15
       config:   0
       state:    0
       current:  10MB-FD COPPER
  LOCAL(br-int): addr:fa:00:ce:93:ab:40
       config:   0
       state:    0
OFPT_GET_CONFIG_REPLY (xid=0x3): frags=normal

and here is a part of the output of ovs-ofctl dump-flows br-int that
corresponds to the ofport 5=tap interface:

cookie=0x0, duration=361.1s, table=0, n_packets=62, n_bytes=8277,
in_port=5, dl_src=fa:16:3e:7e:34:65  actions=
set_tunnel:0x4,resubmit(,1)

as you can see that the flow matching rule has dl_src=fa:16:3e:7e:34:65 whereas
tap interface has a MAC address of f6:68:b0:a6:27:15.

Why are these addresses different ? Do they belong to different entities ?
Please let me know.

Thanks,
Salman
