With the VM image, stack.sh script cares about everything; you don't need to run ryu-manager by hand. If you want to try Folsom version, please follow the instruction that Yamahata gave. However, Folsom version is still under development. So if you don't intend to debug or develop it, probably it might not be ready for you. Once we have the stable Folsom version, we would create a VM image.
