Hello Experts,
i am new to RYU controller and going through various documentation that was
available including wiki etc on RYU website. I need few inputs from you
guys.
1) I am trying to install and test RYU. Is there any prebuilt vm image that
makes the test easy (like mininet for flood light) ? If not can I use
mininet to test RYU as well ?
2) Does RYU is closely tied with Openstack ? I see all the explanation,
references and testing is with respect to OpenStack. Can any other
applications also use RYU controller with open flow ? If so does it need
any code modifications/tailoring ?
3) Can I use Open Virtual Switch as the switch and use RYU as controller ?
4) Any document that explains different components, their interactions,
message exchange etc for RYU controller ?
Let me know any other inputs/documentation that will help for me to learn
more on RYU.
