Hello, I have some questions about VLAN and mac address based L2
isolation when cooperate with OpenStack.

First, there is just one flow entry ( e.g. output:normal) set to OVS.
However, how does it work when forwarding packets? Will OVS maintain a
table about the VLAN ID of every port and their mapping to MAC addresses?
Does it support broadcast in VLAN, which means OVS just sends to the port
belonging to the same network?

Second, how does VLAN netowrk in OpenStack communicate with external
network? Using L3 agent in OpenStack? But how the OVS know where L3 agent
is and send the packet to it?

Third, what does the external port in mac address based L2 isolation means?
>From the documentation "Details of Ryu in cooperation with OpenStack
Grizzly", I see the term"external port" in both L2 broadcast case and L2
unicast case. This is the port connecting to eth?

Thank you for your patience.

Amy
