Hi all, I use mininet to simulate the topology, and I have 1 switch s1, 3 hosts h1 h2 h3, and use CPqD soft switch. The cmd I am using is :
sudo mn --topo single,3 --mac --switch user --controller remote But when I launch the my controller code, I saw there are unknown MAC addresses packet which I captured under Packet_in Event like this: packet in 1 b6:5f:1a:40:c9:e4 33:33:00:00:00:02 1 my h1 hw address is 00:00:00:00:00:01 h2 is 00:00:00:00:00:02 h3 is 00:00:00:00:00:03 I check all the nodes I created using ifconfig, but I couldn’t find which device has MAC address b6:5f:1a:40:c9:e4, so I’m confused, and why there is another MAC address is 33:33:00:00:00:02. Is that related because my implementation has group table or meter table something? I was trying to do simple multicasting on topology. Can someone give me any hint on where do those packets come from ? thank you ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CenturyLink Cloud: The Leader in Enterprise Cloud Services.
