Thank you very much for the information.
I know that OVS 2.1 handles NXM including TCP flags, I am actually looking how
to enable the RYU controller to parse Packetin messages in order to get the TCP
flags.
There is also the Experimenter part of the OF specification which enable to
extend the action set, matching fields, error messages, etc.

Since, i am also working on the topic, i tried to find out how to do so. OFP
does not support it directly but i think it is possible for you to construct
your own object using 'Extended OXM fields' [2]
However recently, OVS has started supporting TCP Flag matching [4]
This might help you out if you want to construct your own OXM field. [5][6]
