Ah! I see what it is.
It’s an assumption in my stability patch that dpset is being used, rather than
topology.
I have logic in the _recv_loop of controller.py that forces cleanup of
datapaths that do not make it through the OpenFlow handshake.
That logic assumed that dpset was being used.
Working on an updated patch, that works with both dpset and topology.
