Have you used the --observe-links argument while initiating the topology module? To provide connectivity between the hosts you need to use layer 2 or 3 forwarding modules along with the topology discovery app. The routing module should also be able to handle arp packets in a looped topology to avoid arp flooding problem.
I am using RYU controller for my link recovery use case. Ryu have Topology discovery module . My topology is fat tree. Topology discovery module is initiating but not getting the topology and its links. Ping between hosts is not successful. Any help on this would be appreciated.
