Dear all, thanks for the advises. They have allowed me to learn more about Ryu and OF. My problem was of a different nature. I was trying to create meters on an OVS 2.8 on Ubuntu Linux 16.04 and, unfortunately, this version doesn't support Meters (at least as I understood them). I'm going to upgrade Ubuntu to last LTS and create ovs packages for the very last version. Once that is done, I'll report back.
